For Pro users: Connect your email account in Profile settings to enable automatic scanning of incoming emails for suspicious links.

Understanding Results

After verification, you'll receive a detailed analysis. Here's how to interpret the results:

Risk Levels

Each link receives a risk score from 0-100%, categorized as follows:

Safe (0-20%) Low Risk (21-40%) Medium (41-60%) High Risk (61-80%) Critical (81-100%)

What Each Level Means

  • Safe: The link appears to be legitimate. You can likely proceed safely.
  • Low Risk: Minor concerns detected, but generally safe. Exercise normal caution.
  • Medium Risk: Some suspicious indicators found. Verify the source before clicking.
  • High Risk: Multiple warning signs detected. Avoid unless you're certain of the source.
  • Critical: Confirmed or highly suspected malicious link. Do not visit!
Warning: Even "Safe" results don't guarantee 100% safety. New threats emerge constantly. Always use your judgment and consider the context of where you received the link.

Security Best Practices

Protect yourself online with these essential security tips:

Link Safety

  • Hover before clicking - Check where a link actually goes before clicking
  • Be wary of shortened URLs - Services like bit.ly can hide malicious destinations
  • Check for HTTPS - Secure sites should have a padlock icon
  • Watch for misspellings - "amaz0n.com" is not "amazon.com"
  • Verify unexpected links - Even if from a known contact, their account may be compromised

Email Safety

  • Don't trust urgent requests - Scammers create false urgency
  • Verify sender addresses - Check the actual email address, not just the display name
  • Never download unexpected attachments - These may contain malware
  • When in doubt, verify - Contact the company directly through their official website
Remember: Legitimate companies will never ask for your password, Social Security number, or credit card details via email or text message.
